Translation assets like Translation memories and glossaries added during the project setup are channelled to be used efficiently during the actual Machine Translation Post-Editing work inside the Transeditor
Results from both Translation memories and glossaries will be displayed in the footer section under the Translation Memories and Glossary tab
Using a translation memory
When you click on a target segment in Transeditor, target segments from uploaded translation memories will be fetched and displayed based on the TM parameters (threshold and hits) set while uploading.
You can simply copy the result or hover over the target segment and click to use results from translation memory.
Once you use a result from translation memory,
It can be observed that the segment status is changed to TM Unconfirmed. You can edit this as you need and Confirm to save the results. In this way, you can use translations from uploaded translation memories
Using a glossary
When working on a target segment, when there are terms in the source segment for which there are target terms from glossaries(s) uploaded for the project, the results will be displayed in the footer section under the Translation Memories and Glossaries tab
As glossaries suggest target language terms for certain source language terms, you can copy and replace in the target segment. Confirm the segment to save changes.
