Once a project is created, tasks for the project are automatically created. You can assign tasks to an internal member (See How to add internal member) or an external member (hired editor).
At Transeditor,
- Click Assign and Manage tab
- Select a project. All tasks within the project will be listed below. You can also select a job to list only tasks of the particular job
- Select the task you want to assign by ticking the checkbox
- Based on the job of the task selected, in the right side pane, internal members and external members will be filtered and displayed
- You can view the list of internal or external editors by clicking on the tabs in the right side pane
- Select a task and click on the radio button for an internal member or external editor, a pane will pop up from the right side. Only the deadline is mandatory to assign a task, however you shall fill additional details such as rates and instructions if needed
7. Click Assign to assign the task to the selected editor
8. A notification message will be sent to the assigned editor and the task will be available in the editor’s project list page to work. The assigned task will be also indicated in your project list page
